Using the Day Boat

Training

A health and safety briefing will be provided, along with instructions on how to operate the boat, including turning it on and off, and steering. Additional training is available, during which a staff member will accompany you to the first lock and guide you through its operation before sending you on your way.

Day Boat Hire Prices

Monday to Thursday (excluding bank holidays) £144 inc VAT.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and bank holidays £180 inc VAT.

With one hour of free tuition in boat handling and lock operation,
Catalina is licensed for a max of 8 persons, and Dogs are welcome.
A £100 returnable damage deposit will be required.

“What an amazing day out Nick and the team were really helpful and friendly. They made sure we understood all the safety instructions. Remember to kill the engine if anyone falls in. The boat was clean and life jackets are available. Working toilet and charging facilities also available. We had so much fun. We turned left and sailed for a couple of hours to “The Halfmoon” it’s a pub with a beautiful bear garden and great food. We will definitely be back.
