Welcome to Aylesbury Canal Society, where we offer comprehensive services for boat owners and visitors alike. Our facilities include the dry dock and wet dock for maintenance and repair, function room and Day Boat Hire for events and leisurely cruises.
In addition to our service offerings, we provide moorings for residential and non-residential use, with up to 2 weeks of free secure moorings for visiting boats at Circus Field. As a welcoming community, we invite you to explore the Aylesbury Arm and experience our warm hospitality.

Visit Us Circus Field Basin

Dry Dock

The covered and ventilated space is also centrally heated and is accessed by a slipway and electric winch with capacity for boats up to 72ft long and weighing as much as 30 Tonnes

Wet Dock

Our wet dock is designed with your boat’s maintenance needs in mind. The state-of-the-art wet dock protects your boat from the elements, offering excellent lighting and optional ‘Still Air’ heating for temperature control.

Function Room

Suitable for up to 80 depending on function and 120 for conference.

Day Boat

1 hrs free tuition in boat handling and lock operation, Boat licensed for a max of 8 persons

Moorings

Please visit our office or welcome boat on arrival.

Someone will be available to show you around.

One week free mooring for residential use; and

Two weeks free mooring for non residential

About Aylesbury Canal Society

The Circus Field Basin offers some of the finest inland waterway moorings in the country, allowing the Aylesbury Canal Society to attract more members and boats to our welcoming community.

Known for our hospitality, ACS extends this tradition with up to 2 weeks of free secure moorings for visiting boats at Circus Field. We invite you to embark on a leisurely journey down the Aylesbury Arm to our new home at Circus Field Basin, where you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome.

Opened in August 2013, our purpose-built canal basin features a slipway for full-size narrowboats, a wet dock, a small slipway for trail boats and narrowboats, and an extensive clubhouse complex available for hire. The new facilities building and club headquarters, completed in September 2014 by Lodge Park Construction Limited, marked an exciting new chapter in our history.

As we continue to promote the use of the Arm and welcome visiting boats, short-term moorings are generally available for weekend adventures. Boaters wishing to stay a few days should see our ‘WELCOME BOAT’ for assistance.

Thank you Jackie, for talking me through the booking procedure and being so efficient and helpful, and thank you Richard for getting seven novices through our maiden voyage on a narrow boat with your excellent guidance. We all agreed we want to do this again – and wondered why we had waited so long in the first place.

What an amazing day out Nick and the team were really helpful and friendly. They made sure we understood all the safety instructions. Remember to kill the engine if anyone falls in. The boat was clean and life jackets are available. Working toilet and charging facilities also available. We had so much fun. We turned left and sailed for a couple of hours to “The Halfmoon” it’s a pub with a beautiful bear garden and great food. We will definitely be back.
